Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my friend, Heather, I love the way you can stamp on a curve with my acrylic stamps! I also love these papers, Victoria and I picked them up at Costco. And one of my new favourite tools, my file tab punch!

Travel Mug!

Okay, so you can scrap just about anything! I found this scrapable travel mug at Starbucks, of all places, for about $12.00!

Disney Autograph Album

Front Cover
Inside cover and pages to be autographed, I thought I'd leave these blank for now and embellish them and add photos after our trip.
Double-sided pocket page for momentos.
Inside back cover.
Back cover.

This is an autograph album I made for Timmy, for our trip to Disney next summer. I used an acrylic cover set, punched a couple of holes, embellished and added jump rings.

Pops & Dots!

I was so frustrated with all of the packaging for my glue dots and pop dots, requiring a couple of sizes in each of these products means a lot of bulk to fit into my scrap tote. So, I created this chipboard book, using 2 sheets of paper, 6 envelopes and some recycled cardboard. I cut off the adhesive strips on the envelopes and adhered them all together by gluing the flap of one into the opening of the next. I used a punch to make the tabs. And then I covered both sides of the cardboard in paper, punched a couple of holes and added jump rings and voila! It's easy to see what I have, the cardboard means it will stand up on my work table and it takes up very little space in my tote!

More cards!

A thanksgiving card I made for my Mom and a birthday card I made for my sister. No peeking Kathy! BTW, I must confess the thanksgiving card idea was mostly borrowed!

Easy Peasy Trick or Treat Boxes

Here are a couple of treat boxes
I whipped up in 15 minutes for my
neice and nephew!

Christmas Card Swap

This is the card I made for Lee's Christmas card swap. It's not the design I originally thought to make, more of an evolution based on tool restrictions and sizing needs. But I like it, just the same and can't wait to make more! - Oh, I forgot to mention the snowflake charm on the inset I made with shrinky dink paper! It's too fun!

I did it!

Well I did it, there's no going back now. I entered the contest for Two Scrapbook Friends design team call. I'm telling you the most difficult thing was writing up a bio. It's hard to know how much to write and how much to share and what is boring or not! I'll post my contest entry pics when I can.

Brand New Blogger!

Okay, so here goes, this is my first post on my first blog... basically, I'm just looking for a way to share my hobby. Most of my friends scrapbook and I consider myself lucky to have made so many friends through this fun and addictive hobby!

I thought for my first post I'd share the lovely scrap room my husband, Ian, made for me this summer. check out the pics, I love this room, it is pretty and functional. And a really peaceful place to hang out, when it's not a mess, that is!
